The new POCO F8 series has been officially announced. The launch is coming soon
The POCO F8 series is set to stir up the smartphone market. The manufacturer aims higher than ever, combining capabilities of top-tier devices with a price that will pleasantly surprise many users. The official launch will take place in Indonesia on the island of Bali - November 26, 2025, and the phones are expected to go on sale in Poland almost simultaneously with the global debut. Will that be the case? Everything will become clear soon.
Power without compromise
The central model of the series will be the POCO F8 Ultra, equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor designed for top-level performance. The Pro version will receive the equally impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite, while fast LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memory will ensure instant app loading and stable multitasking. The F8 series will also debut with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 — one of the first global implementations of Xiaomi’s newest system. The software has been redesigned to optimize energy consumption, improve animation smoothness, and enhance intelligent automation powered by advanced AI models. The finalized regional system builds suggest full readiness for a global rollout.
Built to impress
The POCO F8 Ultra is expected to feature an impressive display measuring around 6.9 inches with a near-2K resolution, delivering exceptional brightness and a high refresh rate for incredibly smooth visuals. Slim bezels and modern aesthetics will give it the look and feel of a true flagship. The Pro version will include a slightly smaller panel while maintaining the same high image quality standards.
Sound refined by Bose – a whole new level
For the first time in the series, the manufacturer has partnered with the legendary audio brand. Sound by Bose means a new set of acoustic components precisely tuned by experts who have shaped the premium audio world for decades. As a result, POCO F8 smartphones deliver deeper bass, cleaner highs, and a significantly more spacious soundstage. It’s a clear step toward multimedia performance that surpasses anything previously offered in this lineup.
Long-lasting battery and cameras ready for any shot
The F8 series is also expected to stand out with above-average endurance — the Ultra model will offer a 6500 mAh battery, while the Pro version will include around 6210 mAh. Both support 100W fast charging, with the Ultra additionally supporting 50W wireless charging. In terms of photography, the manufacturer is aiming high: a triple 50 MP camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens is designed to deliver shots comparable to premium flagship models. This lineup is crafted for users who expect maximum versatility.
