Connect your Xiaomi vacuum cleaner to Wi-Fi!

Step 1
The first thing worth knowing before connecting any Xiaomi device to a Wi-Fi network is to make sure that you have access to a network at home.

After completing this first, very simple step, you can move on. In Google Play or the App Store, find and install the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Open it and create your Mi account, or if you already have one, log in.

In the upper right corner of the app, you will find a button in the shape of a plus sign. Tap it and look for the category that matches the device you want to connect to the app or Wi-Fi network. You will find Xiaomi vacuum cleaners under the “home appliances” section. Select your vacuum model.

It’s time to reset the connection. The app will display information on how to do this. Once the operation is confirmed, tap the green “next” button.

Enter the name of the Wi-Fi network you are connecting the device to and type the password in the appropriate field on your smartphone screen. Tap “next” to continue.
