How to turn off autocorrect on a Xiaomi phone?

Go to the keyboard
You’ll find spelling-related settings right above the input tool, meaning directly above the keyboard. To display it, simply open any messaging app or browser and proceed as if you were about to type something into a text field. When the familiar layout of letters and numbers appears, tap the gear icon located just above them. This will take you to the correct settings section.
Adjust
Once you’ve entered the keyboard settings, find the option called “Text correction” and select it. In the “Corrections” section, disable autocorrect by tapping the blue switch — a single tap is enough. You can also adjust all other visible settings as you like.
