How to hide an album on a Xiaomi phone?

Step one
Go to the Gallery app and select the photos you want to move to the album you will hide. How to do this. Click and hold on any photo until a circle icon appears on it. Once you've ticked the relevant boxes, a 'pipe' icon will appear on them. At the bottom of the screen you'll see the Add to album option. You can create a new one or upload files to an existing folder. Remember, if you want to hide photos, you need to move them to an album, not copy them.
Hide album
Go to the albums in your gallery. There you will also find the one you intend to hide on your Xiaomi POCO or Redmi phone. Select it, by tapping and holding. When you see that the photo folder is selected, select Hide. Confirm your action when the appropriate message is displayed.
How do I find the hidden photo folder?
To reverse the steps previously described, go to Gallery and then tap the 3 dots at the top right of the screen. Click Settings and in the PREVIEW section tap View hidden albums. You can now remove albums from the hidden part of the gallery to make them visible again.
