What is a Mesh network?
The most common system used by network operators is the use of classic routers. A Mesh network is a kind of ensemble of such devices. In contrast, it uses not one, but two or more transmitters to form a mesh network. This enables a better distribution of the signal in the home, flat or office. Xiaomi's new solution, will consist of a set of two transmitters that can be spread out over successive floors or in different nooks and crannies of the home.

A set of two routers will provide you with a stable and even connection to your home network over an area of up to approximately 370m2. Such a large range will allow you to work from home or, if you have the possibility, also from the garden. The upcoming product, the Mi Mesh System AX3000, will offer 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, both with 802.11ax technology. The dual-band combined speed of the bands can reach up to 2976 Mbps. The new definition of speed is about to enter the market and will bring former solutions to their knees, reaching almost double the speed of a standard router.
