Power debut of Snapdragon 732G
The leading 4G processor of 2020, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 732G, will soon debut with the new POCO X3 NFC! What really sets the Snapdragon™ 732G processor apart is its ability to play advanced mobile games. The letter G in the name stands for Gaming, and the processor itself is equipped with select Elite Gaming features for a smooth and seamless gaming experience.
The power of the chip behind the performance
The all-new processor is paired with a high-performance Kryo™ 470 unit with two gold cores based on the A76 architecture and six silver A55 cores, reaching clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz, enabling applications to run faster and smoother compared to the previous generation. The processor is made using 8nm technology, which provides extreme power efficiency while reducing chip size. As for the GPU, the unit features an overclocked Adreno™ 618 processor at 800MHz, a considerable improvement over the 700MHz clocking on the 730G. This makes games run more efficiently, look better, and supports higher resolution graphics and higher frame rates. It supports the Vulkan 1.1 gaming library, making games more realistic. The GPU also assists the processor in its workload relieving it and making the device more energy efficient and fast.
