6-month screen protection for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 smartphone

In addition to the consumer's rights under the warranty for defects of the goods sold in accordance with the terms and conditions published at https://www.mi.com/global/service/warranty, this additional free warranty shall also apply to consumers (within the meaning of Article 221 of the Civil Code) on the territory of the Republic of Poland ("Consumer").

This warranty is granted by Xiaomi Technology (Polska) sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (ul. Marynarska 15, 02-674 Warsaw), entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XIII Economic Department of the National Court Register under the KRS number 0000746177, NIP 5213838221, share capital of 17 106 645 zł.

1. Guarantee coverage

A consumer who purchased a Redmi Note 11 smartphone ("Product") between 22 February 2022 and 22 March 2022. through any official sales channel (online or stationary) of Xiaomi in Poland (the "Territory") and activated the Product in the Territory, shall be entitled to one free screen repair at a Xiaomi service centre in the Territory during the first six (6) months from the date of purchase if the screen of the Product has been damaged or destroyed due to inadvertent acts of the Consumer (e.g. due to inadvertent dropping of the Product).

The repair will be free of charge and includes, if necessary, a free screen replacement.

In order to exercise their rights under this warranty, the Consumer must contact Xiaomi's service centre. Xiaomi may require to send either the purchase invoice or the proof of delivery.

2. Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover:

1. Damage to the screen caused intentionally or through gross negligence;
2. Damage to the screen surface (such as scratches or other aesthetic qualities/appearance of the screen) which does not affect the functionality of the screen;
3. Damage caused by malware, i.e. unauthorised software or applications supplied by third parties used by the Consumer.

Furthermore, the guarantee is also excluded in the following cases:

1. The consumer has not provided proof of purchase or delivery of the Product;
2. The serial number or IMEI is damaged, has been removed, obscured or modified/manipulated;
3. The product is non-original and has not been manufactured by Xiaomi;
4. The damage is caused by use of the Product not in accordance with its intended use, or not in accordance with Xiaomi's or the dealer's instructions, guidelines or manuals;
5. The damage results from unauthorised repairs / interventions by the Consumer, the use of unauthorised / non-original parts, software or components.

The warranty is also excluded for Products which, due to the extent of damage to the screen, need to be replaced, with a new Product. Such replacement may be subject to the terms of the warranty for defects of the item sold.

The guarantee does not exclude, limit or suspend the buyer's rights under the warranty for defects of the goods sold.
